              Steven Shannon made the splitboard.com 'covershot' on a 125 swallow surfer prototype (unsplit).

After bogging down on the deep days I needed something with enough surface area to float. I made the prospector with buoyancy in mind, the fat nose and tapered shape and swallowtail pop the board out of the snow and the zero camber profile reduce drag.

In 2008 I remade both the top and bottom molds for the 'Renegade'. The 33" top deck got a steeper nose/tail and deeper concave while the subdeck got mildly less effective edge to help get the ollie 'sweet spot' and the camber taken out to reduce drag.   Testing the new Renegade at Whistler
